What Cigar Are You Smoking? 2024

Bellas Artes Lancero. One of those cigars you can’t stop looking at from smoking, just beautiful in every way, with monster smoke production and razor sharp burnline. Flavor is a bit off my beaten path however, with dark earth, bitter cocoa, black coffee and no lack of spice until halfway mark...

What Cigar Are You Smoking? 2024

Hot mess, an acrid unripened bitter Jalapeño out the gate. If this wasn’t first smoke of the day Id have snubbed it pronto. Forging ahead rather sans retro, due to some glowing reviews that I'm left scratching my head at, finding no room for a single pleasant flavor. I’d say this is a dang...

What Cigar Are You Smoking? 2024

Cream machine corona. Cold draw straight Tupelo honey, taste is a smooth sweet cream, hardly any spice until the last third where the delightfully musky terroir kicks into high gear with a nutty yet slight mesquiteness and a tinge of sulfur match head retro, also when the graham cracker...

    Cigar TAD 2024!

A lot I haven’t tried here, and some revisits to see if anything’s still box worthy.

Lol haven’t done that since I was around 16 ; me and a buddy would also soak our Cope with SoCo to dip and dry it out to stuff in our cobs. This was probably to blame for my nearly 20 year pipe smoking hiatus.

United Pencils Maduro, good flavor, just not enough of it, a bit too watered down by the 28 ring size. Might be good to keep bedside that way when I roll over in the middle of the night and I’m craving a cigar. However it still smoked for 45min.

Good, maybe Jake finds another way to get attention now.

What Cigar Are You Smoking? 2024

One of my favs, in a Lancero, it’s a smooth creamy blast of Pad Thai flavored beef jerky with a tall glass of Yoo-hoo. Getting LP #9 vibes but it’s been years since I smoked one. Having a honey latte by the pool. Halfway into the cigar and I still haven’t figured out what music I want to put on...

L’Atelier La Mission 1959. And this is why I like San Andres wrappers, Pikes Peak here on brownie-mix mountain. Great morning cigar with a canteen of Caramel Latte. So nice I’ll post it twice…

What Cigar Are You Smoking? 2024

@BenMN Im constantly surprised everybodies not smoking Foundations all the time, including me. Those Charter Oaks might be the best bang for your buck out there. My dad almost exclusively smokes Tabernacles now. I rem the first time we tried one, all the oohing and aahing on the porch. I think...

What Cigar Are You Smoking? 2024

Such weirdness: last cigar I smoked (a Cavelier) was a 48-50 ring and within 10 minutes 2” had burned, now take this 5.6x44 it’s taken an hour to get a 2” ash. Same box different day. Insane smoke production too, although one dimensional it’s a very good dimension. Don’t think I’ve had a draw...

I think I like the Judge more than all those you mentioned. I know a lot of people love La Duena but it doesn’t do much for me, or the Bijou at all really.
