Somehow, searching for Comoy's on Facebook, I found Neil Archer Roans old Passion for Pipes blog page. I thought this was defuct, but I can open some pages using the permalinks. I found his blog entry where Adam Davidson recreates the C.

Ive seen some craftsmen do much more difficult work.
I personally would leave it be, but maybe not.....
Ive got a few Comoys with the coveted three C.
They are all very good smokers.
One of my favorite old pipe companies.
