I like Namaste quite a bit. It is a little bit on the lighter side of English blends and has a bit of citrus taste to it. I recommend trying it if you like English blends that are on the lighter side and convey a little more flavor than just Latakia and spice.

(P.S. Closing this thread and opening April's thread. We can continue in that thread.)

PA in a Big Ben dublin.

I won $25 on a gifted $2 scratch-off and went for a drug store trifecta today with a pouch each of PA, Carter Hall, and Sir Walter Raleigh.

This month's "What are you smoking?" thread is several pages longer than February's. That might have something to do with the way Uncle Arthur smokes like a freight train.

Thanks for the info Highstump, I'll keep it in mind. I'm not going to pass any further judgment on either of them until I give a few more bowls worth (maybe try a couple different pipes too). Both of them seem to burn pretty well. I did notice that the H&H was a bit more bitey than the PA though.

Sapo Said:
They smoke good Joensing, Almost like a cob. The bowl thickness is thin, I like to use them for flakes. Overall they are good smokers for what then are. IMHO you can't have enough knock around pipes to mistreat. I highly recommend 'em from my experiences with them.

bytor, before you make up your mind on PA or H&H they are much better (IMO) from the tub than the pouch. Can't say why but they are for me.

Are we to take it that you're smoking Captain Black in a Ben Wade?

I don't remember that commercial, but there was a cool Kodiak commercial from when I was a kid. A guy was standing next to bear that was raised up on his haunches and said "Kodiak, the only bear you'll ever pinch!"

I can't find a video of it.
