Bob I envy you right now. All that remains of my stock of FVF is tobacco dust at the bottom of the mason jar it was in.

It should be soon (within the next few weeks) that the SG shipments should be arriving to the US. Be sure to stock up on it as soon as it arrives.

Largo is really intended for the roll-your-own market, so you may like it better wrapped up in a paper. It's labeled as pipe tobacco in response to the federal government raising the tax of RYO tobacco 2,159% to almost $25 a pound. They did it for the sake of "the children".

    Here's a table for reference:

    S-CHIP Chart

    Other tobaccos like it:

    4 Aces
    Bull Durham
    GT One
    Ohm
    Wind River

The list goes on and on, but the real giveaway is the style of packaging.

DANG! Can you still get Bull Durham? I haven't seen it in years. Good smoke if you got it as soon as the store opened the box .

If at first you don't succeed you are running about average.

It just recently resurfaced. It's not the Bull Durham of old that was chipped cut and in the drawstring sack.

Now it's more or less an RYO cut that's in a plastic bag that claims to be pipe tobacco.

The cigarettes I smoked of it were pretty one dimensional, though high in vitamin N.

McCranies Old Master - "Prime, ribbon-cut Burley with a touch of Virginia Bright. A truly rich burley without added flavorings. A great natural blend for Burley lovers."

Old Master is ok I think I like PA better. I am looking for a good burley blend any suggestions?

It's Balkan Superior from Steve Brooks, in an IMP Snow Cone Meerschaum.
Yes, I'd like to hear your thoughts on Sterling's 1776 Tavern as well
Arthur, as I enjoy it myself, in addition to Chairman of the Board and
    Richmond Blender's Choice.

McClelland Black Woods Flake in the Ben Wade 100. AKUS on iTunes, and good Kentucky Bourbon in the glass...

If you think you can or can't do something, you're right.

I'm about to do the same. I smoked the inaugural bowl outside yesterday and don't think I got the full effect. (It was in a cob and I used the plastic stem without a filter. I haven't quite mastered the whole MM thing yet.)

While I wasn't able to assess the room note since I was outdoors, I know it's not the latakia bomb I was expecting before the package arrived. It was still good, though.

Now comes a 2nd try with a Brebbia here in the house.
