If this works, I'll call it catch up. These are the keepers from the last ten years.

That's a nice collection of pipes Chuck! 82 in all. Nice!

I remember I had 16 in a post a few months back. Now I am up to 28, counting 2 corncobs, but not counting 4 Dr. Grabows, and a missing Peterson that may be in a box in storage by mistake.

This is a great pipe that Kevin surprised me with at the 2009 C.O.R.P.S Show.
    It is my favorite pipe!

I want to smoke it all the time, but it is hard for me to do because it is new, lol. I am weird like that.

I think I might smoke a good Virginia blend it in for the first smoke. Maybe sometime in the next week or so. I will let you know when I do.

That's a really sharp pipe! If I were to ever buy a Dunhill, I think a good blast like that one would be the way to go for me.

    Nice find Phil,

I have a few with that same shape, but by different makers. All good smokers. Hope you enjoy it for a long time.

I like that it's a filtered pipe... I hope it has the same colors as the pictures... I'm sure that's NOT the one I'll be getting... I like it... fancy but at the same time... Not over bearing...

Never smoked a filter pipe before. Does it really have much of a better smoke of taste or is it mainly to keep the gurgling down.

phil, that's a great shape! Comfortable, and it goes anywhere: tux or bluejeans.

    Surfmac211,

Here is a topic that we have on filters... I like them because they help with moisture... But I don't notice a change in flavor... It also helps keep small pieces of tobacco out of the stem... in my opinion...

    Cortez,

    Thanks for the complement...

I have always been interested in gourd calabash and meerschaum pipes. How do they smoke and is there much difference between them and briar pipes? I saw chuckw picture of his and had to ask.

Surfmac, I like meerschaum pipes, but find they smoke a lot like briar. My calabash now, that's a different story. It's one of the most enjoyable pipes I own. If I have the right place to smoke it. No gurgle, and never gets hot in your hand. It does flavor the smoke a little, depending on what you've been smoking previously, but it's not objectionable.
You have to pack it right though, or you'll block up the air hole.

Max, great looking pipe. I hear 'bashes don't need any rest. Now go find a nice cushy armchair and relax with it.

Very nice. Phil. My birthday is in March. I am shopping early. I would like another 9mm bent. I haven't decided which brand.
