Been going through a tin of Samuel Gawith Grousemoor this past few days. Seems to be a real good blend from SG.

I haven't been able to smoke my pipe this semester. I miss it greatly. I will be getting my new pipes within a few days so hopefully I can light up a bowl and relax this weekend.

Trying Stanwell Melange for the first time, in my TRG White Ringed Volcano.
I think it's going to ghost my pipe.
The wife said it stinks worse than latakia.
    It is very, very, fruity.
The taste is mellowing a bit as I smoke it down. It's even a bit reminiscent of cotton candy. It's supposed to be apricot... maybe, but it's more like peach and orange.
The taste reminds me of a "Fuzzy Naval" with out the deleterious effects of Alcohol.
    ... Darn!
I wasn't sure that I would like it when I first opened the tin. Wow! I thought I had just woke up in a French.... well you know.
It kind of grows on you.

Why do I keep smoking Erinmore flakes? I can't even make up my mind if I like them or not. Very strange...maybe I should have just one more...

Running a bowl of 1Q through my TRG Volcano to see if was ghosted by the Melange.
I don't think so, but I can still smell the room note from that bowl. The War Department said she could smell peaches on my breath.
It was very surprising. Probably the strongest fruit flavor I have had save eating a peach.

Lawrence, if the ghost of that Melange is still haunting your volcano, call on my butt-kickin' friend Old Joe Krantz to evict it.

P.A. for starts, followed by Two Friends' Redwood and C&D's Or Olam.

Tried out some WO Larsen Edmon 2010 from the box pass, (didn't care for it), and then followed it up with some H&H Daybreak (also from the box pass), now that is one peculiar blend I tell ya.....completely different that anything I've tried so far. I didn't find it at tobaccoreviews.com ? anyone else have information on it?

PA in my bent bob though the PA will have to be rehydrated it is too dry ( just bought it). Quite frankly a good smoke but as it is my first time to try it I am a little disappointed so I will smoke a bowl of the name that blend I was sent.

I found the H&H Daybreak review on tobacco review site
    http://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend_detail.cfm?ALPHA=H&TID=3518

It is from Hearth & Home and is a somewhat of a copy of DunHill Early Morning Pipe blend. I guess I just experienced my first English blend.

McClelland Colombian Mocha bulk in my Brigham rusticated apple followed up by Blue Note in my Vauen Rhodesian. The mocha disappeared so quickly and it's such a nice day for sitting and working with the laptop of the back step that it seemed a shame not to have a follow-up. As I normally only have a couple of bowls per week, that was the first time I'd tried different blends back-to-back. Overall, I preferred the Blue Note: better taste and it seemed to smoke slower and cooler.
