I am going to smoke CBW in my Sav. I just got back from running some things over to the girlfriend's so I am just now stepping out to smoke and work on a paper.
So:
CBW in my Savinelli Venezia 677KS
PS Bull's Eye Flake in a Sasieni 4-dot bulldog.
Sounds good to me.... Wall, let us know how it goes.
Still smoking my BCA & 1Q 50/50 in my Johs Bulldog.
It ain't to shabby at all.
Very pleasant smoke though I believe I would enjoy it more with the balsa wood filter in. But even with it in I can tell a huge difference between my bent bob, dr. Grabow, and this. It is by far superior.
Lawrence, please tell me you mixed it because of me! haha kidding... I love 50/50 bca and 1q!
Wallbright, I just bought a different peterson pipe!
I can't wait to see it! I'm assuming you went with one different than the Shannon series? Also, is it safe to smoke two bowls back to back in same pipe or should I switch pipes?
Scottish Woods in a squashed tomato.
I've discovered C&D's Hebraica Series by Wm. Serad, and found a couple of blends that are quite good and should
appeal to most smokers. One of them, Boker Or, is this morning's choice. Boker Or means Morning Light, and by
a happy coincidence, today the Jewish People observe Rosh Hashanah. Best wishes to all of our Jewish pipe smoking friends;
and thank you Rabbi Ira Stone for collaborating with Serad on this blend series.
Rattray's "Hal O' The Wynd" in my Johs Bulldog
I'm not ususally a straight Virginia kind of guy, but this is very good.
It's a broken flake, and believe it or not, packs easily, burns well and tastes fabulous.
They got this one right. Just a straight forward tobacco taste, room and pouch note.
On a 5 star scale.... Rattray's "Hal O' The Wynd" is 4-3/4 stars in my book.
Mac Baren 7 seas Royal in my Italian Basket bent Billard and it was yummy
A reprise of C&D's Boker Or, this time in an Invicta bulldog.
Good morning. It's Odyssey in the Cossack.
Best to all. http://pipesmagazine.com/members/fred/album/picture/537
Yes Cortezattic, yesterday did turn out to be Koncak Pipe day for me. The
Calabash and the Military Lattice are among the last Pipes he's carved...
It's the end of a dynasty of Carvers - one that prevailed for 3 generations.
1888 Mid Day in a bent bull
McB Plumcake in a Cellini Original canadian
Sticking with the Rosh Hashanah theme by smoking C&D's Or L'yom ("Dayight") in an Invicta bulldog.
It's a good, but rather Burleyish blend that, for me, goes better in the winter months; so I'll move to the
more Virginia-forward blends for the rest of the day.
Maplestreet in a bent bull
