Ya, I'm concerned about him too. I haven't yet had the chance to thank him for turning me on to PS Bullseye.

I haven't heard from him either. I hope that he is doing well and hasn't had a health relapse.

Kevin is very busy with personal issues right now, but when he gets some time I will ask him if he has heard anything from Mick.

You guys are making me blush. Sorry to cause concern, but I wasn't taking very good care of myself, according to my wife, and I suppose she was right. I'm back on track now. I really am touched by the good thoughts, and words. I'm back with pipes blazing!

When I had colon cancer, I assumed that it was a bleeding ulcer and did not see a doctor for 5 years, even though I was losing blood. By the time I was convinced to go to a doctor, I had a very advanced case, and a large tumor. The tumor was pressing against my lung and caused it to partially collapse. After a 9 hour surgery which the tumor, as well as my spleen, 90% of my stomach( I have lost 46 pounds), part of my colon, diaphragm, and liver was removed( thank God for robotic surgery), I am cancer free, but have this lung thing, which can turn to pneumonia if I am not careful. This last episode had me spitting handfuls of blood. Scary. I was hoping for surgery to remove the infected part of my lung, but was told last month that, because it is stuck to the cavity wall, it can't be done. It is a precarious, and financially ruinous situation. I deal with it the best I know how. My wife would like for me to go to therapy. I don't know. I tried to drink my way through, but it did not work. I became very depressed. I feel better now and thank all of you, for your kindness.

I will soldier through, and as long as I don't inhale, I can keep smoking my pipe. I hope I did not cause anyone to lose their lunch.

    yours truly, Mick

I found out yesterday, at the genetics lab, that I have something called Lynch Syndrome. Now I have an excuse for my behavior.

We have had 40 mph wind gust. Knocked over many trees. We have have the coldest, and wettest year in 45 years. Next week is supposed to start getting warm and sunny. I can't wait. I need a tan.

Mick slipped off the radar again. We haven't heard from Mick in about 2 months. Does anybody have a line on him?
I hope he's doing well, and that he's offline only because of a recent move (if memory serves).
(He turned me on to PS Bull's Eye Flake, and earned my eternal gratitude.)

Mick: Come on back brother, you are sorely missed.

Marry the right person, this one decision will determine 90% of your happiness.

Does a culture based on seperation and competition, of scientific sophistication and mideval religion, offer happiness even as it ravishes the Earth that sustains it?
