I’m enjoying a small bowl of G&H Dark Flake (aromatic) in an E A Carey Magic Inch apple with a nylon “Cumberland “ stem. Strong tobacco! Needs to be sipped, but has a lovely aroma. Happy smokes.

After 50 years,my tobacco choices are fairly set, but today’s pipes are lovely. Smoking Derringer in a Blakemar smooth Sir Douglas Aristocrat...

I'm smoking some four year aged C&D Derringer in a rusticated Peterson 317. Very satisfying! Playing with my Fed 1d Soviet Leica copy from 1940. One of the last made before the Wehrmacht forced them to move the factory. Happy smokes!

***What Are You Smoking, April 2024?***

Smoking a bowl of Conniston in an old Dr Grabow Royal Duke smooth apple while reading William F. Buckley Jr. on religion. WAYS seems to be the only thread I'm interested in these days. Go figure.

    Red Virginias

You might try C&D Derringer. Not sure whether it has red, but it has less of the yellow lemony leaf and more dark virginias. Quite savory and has some umph!
