Kids table checking in. 29 years old, started when I was 17 (my poor mother). My buddy had a MM cob and a tin of CAO Eileens dream that I'd steal. Prince Albert was the first tobacco I smoked regularly (through college). I hold myself to a rotation of ~10 pipes; 5 rotation pipes, 2 with larger/...

Working on a few project pipes in the shop last night with a cob and some Squadron Leader to keep me company.

"So Three Nuns walk into a Barling- stop me if you've heard this one..." The MacBaren reformulation seems to improve on Orlik's recipe. Never had the original, so 3 Nuns has always been a VaBur to me. Good accompaniment to the absolute thrashing I gave over a Scrabble board last night.

I've got a tin of 3 Nuns in mind. I haven't had it since the MacBaren reformulation!

Emptying a few low jars. All that's left of some 2011 FVF after last night's bowl in a Sasieni Windsor. Might rub the rest over a flake of Dunhill Light, smoke myself a black and tan!

Having an unseasonably warm week here, stuck a few coins of Escudo in this Sasieni Coventry.

Sort of bittersweet looking back at the weekend from a Monday morning. This was my Friday afternoon, some fresh HOTW and a 101 old fashioned. I prefer scotch to its american cousin, but I think the choice is clear when there's matters of perique to attend to. Have a good week, everyone!

What Is The Most Repellent Blend?

I bought it earlier on in my "career" while trying to find a special occasion aro for around company. Half a bowl, gave the rest away. I don't think I've purchased a non-Boswell aromatic tobacco since, it really put me off the style. I may have to put that Brebbia on my next order, just for...

What Is The Most Repellent Blend?

I had to search this thread and check no one had posted about it yet... Solani X Sweet Mystery Firstly, never in my life have I received such a thorough and expedient case of mouth bite. If that weren't enough, Sweet Mystery has the same aromatic quality as gasoline or herbicide. It smells...

Yesterday afternoon's 2011 Dunbar in a Tinderbox x Sasieni military mount dublin. Excellent lightweight pipe, roomy chamber. Made a fabulous Michter's old fashioned to enjoy it with. Not generally a big bourbon guy, but it sure tasted good last night.

    Ashton Pebble Grain Army Mount

Love that. I gravitate toward the simple British shapes as well.
