***What Are You Smoking, May 2024?***

Smoking some Comoy's Cask No. 1 in my Castello Sea Rock (shape 16, KKK). Posted this on Reddit and someone said that this blend was discontinued. Is that true? I admit I haven't seen any Comoy's blends for sale online lately...

Interesting Completed Ebay Auctions - British Pipes

I have a Weber that would pass as a twin for that pipe, and it's a fantastic smoker. Congrats and enjoy!

Looks like a 605 to me!

    An Interesting Estate Pipe Pickup

It smokes great! The tentacle marks was the draw!

    An Interesting Estate Pipe Pickup

Yes, I think it was a fellow Redditor. Someone also posted they have a bent version of the same pipe. Pretty cool.

I'd be ecstatic if they did a 605 in Rua or Barley. I'm not too picky about stem; plip or fishtail is fine with me. To be honest, the sandblasted Harp is ticking most of the boxes for me: sandblasted, silver band, acrylic stem. Was just hoping there'd be something a little different out there.

    An Interesting Estate Pipe Pickup

Yeah, someone on Reddit said it triggered their trypophobia... I just thought it was a unique sea urchin style of finish.

Loving the Pete's showing up here! I've been hunting for a 605 in an interesting finish, but just keep coming across the same ones (Harp, Donegal, Derry, Kildare). Every time a limited edition Pete comes around--Xmas, St Pat's, etc--I hope that the 605 will be a featured shape, but nope. I...

    An Interesting Estate Pipe Pickup

Was looking for a sea creature style pipe (like Northern Briars makes) and came across this unsmoked 70's Seville pipe. Decided to break it in with some Lovecraft inspired tobacco. It actually smokes very well. If anyone is interested, there's one more of these available on the 'Bay for a...

***What Are You Smoking, April 2024?***

Enjoying some Bosun plug with this Bones billiard. I have a handful of Bones pipes that I use exclusively for Lakelands.

    Favorite Morning Blend

I'd probably go with GLP Chelsea Morning as my favorite "morning blend" with coffee, but I've figured out by now that almost any English tastes great in the morning with coffee/tea. When I don't have an open tin of EMP or Chelsea Morning around, I'll grab whatever English I'm currently smoking...

Did You Lose Your Taste for Aromatics Over Time?

I'm mainly an English/latakia blend guy, but I started in the late 80's with aromatics from my local pipe shop in Missouri. They were store blends that I can confidently say were rebrands of classic Lane stuff. At this point I only occasionally smoke an aro--and I'm very picky about them...

***What Are You Smoking, April 2024?***

First time trying Comoy's Cask No. 1. A lot less latakia and more Virginia sweetness than I was expecting. Nice mild leather and subtle smoke flavor/scent that makes it a great morning smoke. I'll probably just go through this tin (paint can) for my morning smoke until gone. The pipe here is...
