    Favorite Home Blend Recipes?

    I like mixing in small amounts of Gawith and Hoggarth Dark Flake Scented (10-20%) with Gl Pease Englishes. At first, I did it to see how it adds strength and to see how the licorice topping would be with latakia. As it turns out it's extremely good.

    Yeah, I don't have any problems with it either other than the Orientals in it can be spicy. Pretty good stuff. Never have thought it to have a high Virginia content and to be pretty smooth.

Much of it is a spirit(carrier), spices (like tonquin for an English blend) or, vanilla, cocoa, ginger, rose water, cinnamon-things to bring out the natural tobaccos.     Well, okay maybe not the vast majority of cheap ones that constitute a larger number. But C&D, MacBaren, Peterson, Germains, and Gawith do not taste artificial to me. I believe they are doing it the old way.
