Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore collapses.
I'm a civil engineer, and have help design dolpins and piers for vessel impact. Those dolphins appear to be too far away from the pier to be useful. There is a lot of old infrastructure that has been underdesigned. This appears to be one of those cases.- pinem

What are You Watching? [2024] Please Rate 1-5
Just finished Boy Swallows Universe. It gets dark, but it's not a wallow in human misery type of show (a genre I despise, i.e., type of dreck Von Trier, Inarritu, Mendes, etc. turn out). The show is worth sticking it out, even if the end is a bit far fetched. Great Aussie period piece too.- pinem
