    Jim's C&D Warped: Scarecrow 2022 Review.

Just got 3 tins as a gift from my wife. Bless her she is not a fan of m smoking but that does not stop her from getting me tins, bulk, pipes, and even whole leaf blending components for my obsession for making my own cigars and rope style blends. I can't wait to try this blend. Very exited that...

Looking for a Work Horse Pipe

I use a couple cobs for this purpose and agree 100% with what you say. My "country gent" is my favorite for this type of thing. I just really want to add a few briars to the mix for work pipes.

    Basic Pairing

I have been thinking alot about this as the seasons change up here in vermont. The foods we are eating and tobaccos we are smoking are making some changes recently. I had this thought after making a pulled pork and then enjoying a pipe of "965" and how well it paired, the thought is the i feel...

Title edited to add caps and expand meaning. See Rule 9, please! -jpm I am looking for a good work horse briar pipe for my morning smokes when I am doing my morning garden and yard work (also shoveling out my car before the kids go to school). Ive been looking at Petersons Arons but im such a...

    Self-sealing Mason Jar Lids

i wouldnt recommend this you need some air for stage one fermentation which is the fastest stage two starts when the O2 is used up and still effects the aging but on a much slower rate. for instance i never pack my bulk jars (for ribbon at least) any tighter than i would a pipe with a little...

    Self-sealing Mason Jar Lids

When dealing with bulk tobacco i always jar it but set it on my writing desk checking the seals every few days or so and the hard tightening the lids after a seal is made much like chasing embers said after the lids seal down the screw will be a bit loose so to say.

    Morta

Thank you everyone this has been very helpful. Especially the recommendations for Marco of Moretti! This may may turn into my first Morta and first commissioned pipe!

    Morta

I have been tossing the thought around of getting a Morta pipe to add to my rotation but am still not sure yet. Those of you fine folk that have picked up one of these "bog oak" pipes in the last few years what are your thoughts. i do most of my shoping online and cannot hold a pipe in hand...

    Anyone ever heard of Dri-Master

It is like that yes. That is also the only thing on google i could find. Not much info i get out of the ebay post other than its an older pipe sadly. Im still digging around online though hoping to turn a rock with a flicker of real info or history. I would upload a picture of the one i have if...

    Anyone ever heard of Dri-Master

I got a pipe from a friend of mine no stem and the Brand is a Dri-Master. I can not find this brand anywhere online. I have no Idea if it is owned by another company, if its a good find, if its trash, or really anything other than its a pot. Any help learning about this guy would be very...

    Buying tobacco

I cant speak for other online retailers, but i know smokingpipses had a 10 tin limit. There limits are set for. 24 hours ("only 10 tins a day). The 24 hours never matter with those small batch realieces on account of the fact they are all gone in under 2.

    New Peterson

PipeIT your first paragraph of this made me think. The coating also very much serves a purpose to the collector that likes to look but not so much smoke ( I know very odd but plenty exist lol) or a resale person. Without a coating of some kind the pipe would develop cracks just on its own with...

    New Peterson

I mainly smoke Petersons and Savinellis both of which have coatings. I have never wiped them away, just broke them in with the normal fashion. I have not noticed any difference between the coating and a "naked pipe". Even a good chance some of the estates you have acquired haven had theirs...
