    What Does “System” Pipe Mean?

the peterson system sump is easily cleaned as stated above with either a qtip or rolled piece of kitchen roll, every so often I employ a warm water flush to really keep the sump clean. Now if you buy a neglected Pete ,yes it can take some work to clean the sump but if cleaned every smoke about...

    Beattie Jet Lighter Hysteria

wow, makes my one purchased about 1 year ago for 100 Euros a bargain. It came with all the box papers and cleaner wire included but was slightly used. I managed to scorch the rim of my pipe the first time I used it due to lack of care.:(

    Old Meerschaum Stuck Tenon

many thanks, looking at the pictures it looks like I wont be able to move just the silver on the stem. Hopefully it may separate with smoking as you suggest. If not I will leave well alone and not force it for fear of breaking the amber stem

    Old Meerschaum Stuck Tenon

I suspect I can live with it,if I can't straighten the silver as long as ths button doesn't cause the chamber to be ridiculously out which it doesn't appear to be from the photos

Interesting Completed Ebay Auctions - British Pipes

As has been stated before.Ebay Global Shipping resell the stuff they deem unshippable.Your are unfortunately not the first member here to have this happen to. There seems to be no way to know what is deemed ok and what not. Best avoid Ebay GS

    Old Meerschaum Stuck Tenon

I have on my way to me an old meer, according to the seller the tenon is stuck. It is likely a bone screw type and going by the pictures is ubderclocked.I would like to free it if at all possible. I wont know until I get it if the button is a round type,in which case I may just try to loosen and...

European "Codger" Blends Available in Europe?

I alway equate codger blend to refer to easily obtained blends available in newsagents etc not just specialist tobacconists,of which there were many more than today, and as a boy growing up in the UK the most popular seemed to be St Bruno and Condor. These 2 were easily recognised by there aroma...
