    Jim's GLP Bankside Review.

Picked up a few tins and really looking forward to this blend. The Latakia DFK combo is intriguing. Thanks for the review

Oh wow so it's actually an MM blend. I wasn't aware that MM was part of the Mac Baren line up. Interesting.

Whoa I've never seen that Mac Baren tin. Limited edition blend?

    Recent TAD Pick-Ups

Got back from vacation last night to see this waiting for me. Been curious to try a VA/Oriental blend and so picked up Bijou, the rest are my usual rotation and cellar staples.

    Vancouver Shops

Yeah so I gave up looking after doing a brief search that only showed vape shops. I didn't think it was so bad around here that the tubs all had to have the same grey label, that's crazy

    Vancouver Shops

Good evening fine folks, the wife and I are visiting Vancouver BC for a week for a nice vacation. She is pretty much controlling the itinerary, but maybe I can sneak away for a bit and check a tobacco shop in the area. Any recommendations? Appreciate it.

Oh well yeah leasing/renting you have to follow their rules and I've never been anywhere that allows smoking. I thought you meant home owners.

Wait what? Where in holy hell are you not allowed to smoke in your own house? And how in the fk is it even enforceable??

    Dedicating Pipes to Certain Types.

I have a really nice Artisan pipe that I got at a Renaissance Festival that I use to only smoke ODF and Bold Kentucky. I have two pipes, a Peterson and a Savinelli that I only smoke GLP The Virginia Cream and C&D Autumn Evening respectively. And then a few MM cobs that I smoke my other HH blends...

    The Strongest Blend You’ve Tried

The boldest flavor for me is MB HH Bold Kentucky. I really enjoy it right behind Old Dark Fired which is my absolute favorite blend. I've been seeing Peterson's Irish Flake mentioned a lot and I'm thinking of grabbing a tin lighting some up and see how it compares to ODF. Enjoy

    Mason Jars

Yes absolutely, I like the regular mouth jars for my flakes as they just slide right out but certainly will be using wide mouth for my ribbon cuts to make it easy to take a pinch of tobacco and then stuff it and puff it. Thanks

    Mason Jars

Yeah thats what my wife said. She mentioned that it was probably for actual food storage, but I wanted to get on here and ask you fine people just to be on the safe side. Thanks

    Mason Jars

Just received my first set of mason jars that I will be using for long term storage, but as you can see the box says that it seals up to 18 months. So did I buy the wrong ones or am I supposed to replace the lids every 18 months, and if so doesn't opening the jars start the aging process over ...

New Guys --- This is Why You Want to Join (or start) a Pipe Club

Not really for me. One of the reasons I got into cigars and later pipes was I liked the quiet introspection that goes with having a smoke, as well as sitting outside and just enjoying the morning air and listening to nature while I let the glorious tobacco scent waft over me.

    Hello from Texas

That's cool, I am looking forward to lighting up a stick after it has been sitting in the humidor. It's been almost four months, and it will probably be a few more before I feel like lighting up a cigar instead of my pipe. See ya around the forums!
