Micoli Making New Pipes?
I'm a big fan of micoli pipes, and just today found www.micoli.com which has pics of his pipes, along with pipes for sale. It goes on to say that he will be making new pipes. Questions on Clay and Meer Pipes...
I just got my pipes back from being cleaned (Thanks Lonestar), and started smoking my clay and meer. I know cake isn't wanted on a meer, is that also true for clay pipes? Also, what is the best way to clean the bowls after each use? I read that alcohol shouldnt be used... Thanks [Edited by...- cthulhu

Quick Cleaning Question...
When I smoke I always end up getting a bit of buildup/blackening on the bowl rim. I was planning on lightly cleaning the rim with alcohol and then applying carnuba over the entire bowl. Is this the best solution or is there a better way? Thanks- cthulhu

Is it better to jar your Tobacco?
Since joining here, I've increased my collection of tobaccos. I currently keep all my bulk tobaccos in mason jars, and keep the smaller batchs in the tins they come in. Going through some boxes, I found a bunch of mason jars and was thinking about transfering the tinned blends into them...- cthulhu

I've been shopping around, trying to find my first meerschaum, and had a quick question: Are you supposed to let cake build up in the bowl like a briar pipe? Wally Frank pipe...
Was going through my old pipes, and found this odd pipe. It's carved as a bust of Beethoven. It is a very light colored wood, stamped Bruyere, France, and also has the Wally Frank stamp on it. Was wondering if anyone has any info on the maker, if the wood is briar, etc... I'll get pics up ASAP. -
