The controls are interesting. Venguer was originally a RYO anyway, wasn't it? With the cut changed to ribbon around the same time all the others made the change due to the tax imbalance? And is the Stokkebye Norwegian the same as the RYO pouch version, just ribbon instead of shag? Or perhaps...- Cobler

I'd be interested to hear your take on the OHM Red when you get a chance to try a bowl. Partly because OHM seems to be one of the more readily available brands yet Briar Lee hasn't mentioned it AFAIK.- Cobler

Deer Tongue? That was easy!
I was reading Bull Durham business bonanza, 1866 - 1940 and it mentions an 1881 flavoring recipe of rum, tonka beans and deer tongue. Not that we can readily sample it these days...- Cobler

Discover RYO Type Tobaccos
So far I've bought two of the big plastic bag "pipe" tobaccos. OHM Turkish Red: quite nice. Lovely aroma in the bag, slightly spicy smoke.
