    2 new (to me) blends

So, today I received a shipment from smokingpipes.com and of the 5 tobaccos that I purchased, two in particular really stood out. First off, I have to say that I have been looking for the "perfect" English blend. I love English blends but some can actually give me a bit of a headache; not really...

    Hatfield pipe interpretation

Alright, so here is my rendition of the Hatfield pipe, at least the way I saw it. Of course, I put my own twist on it, as this pipe is for my own personal smoking pleasure. I sandblasted it because I did not own a sandblasted pipe as of yet and I am actually really glad that I did do it. The...

    Whats your morning blend?

Hey everyone, I would love to find a good morning blend. Something that is mid range in the nic, and pleasent in taste and in smell. I am a pretty cranky person when I wake up, so it has to be jjjjjuuust right. Now, I do realize that it is all a matter of opinion, so I guess that's what I am...

    B-Day Briar re-direction (Pic heavy)

So, my olive colored ebonite came in today, and I had a little time to work on my birthday pipe a bit. Well, I started the process of stemming my pipe and realized that I was not liking the direction it was going, with the palm wood, not to mention it started to crack a bit. I decided to take...

    B-Day Briar

Tomorrow is my birthday (no, this is not a shameless plug for birthday wishes...) so I thought I would pick out a nice piece of briar to make myself a pipe. I have some olive colored ebonite coming as well. I thought I would post some progress pictures as I make this pipe, for those of you that...

    Couple of Pokers

This first one was commissioned along with the last bulldog I posted. The second poker was just for the hell of it, this was actually the very first pipe I ever sandblasted. I also made a tamper to go along with it. This is the Buckskin Blasted Poker with deer mule tamper. Hopefully you guys dig...

Today I sandblasted for the first time. Sand blasting is amazing! Here are 5 pipes I am currently working on that have been blasted. Now to finish them all up! I think I may make myself a new pipe and blast it as well for my birthday coming up...

    Dublin-esque Nosewarmer Sitter

Made this little guy for a member of the forum. It has some palm wood on it, and I used a little turquoise powder to fill in the pits on the top of the bowl.

    Partly Peeled...

Hello friends, I was recently asked to make somthing similiar to the Geiger Partly Peeled Nose Warmer for a member of this fine forum. Here is my work so far, there are some little details that I must still work out. I unfortunatley do not have a sandblasting setup yet so I rusticated it...
