It tends more towards actual bourbon. It has a typical cinnamon with a little sweetness and small amount of oak. Not terribly complex but far better than something like 1792 (which I like). I'd say it competes with many bourbons in the $50-$70 range plus it's 1L instead of 750mL.

My father in-law swears up and down by the Kirkland vodka. Says it's exactly the same as Grey Goose. Doesn't give him a hangover either. My in-laws ONLY drink top shelf liquor.

Anyone know if Kirkland is a Cosco exclusive or if it could show up elsewhere? N.C.'s ABC stores are not expansive in their inventory, but there is a selection. Mostly we have wine or beer with meals, and my wife just has a thimble full because of meds.

"Kirkland" is Costco's name for its house brand products.
