The Chicago pipe show is back with a vengeance!. This year we had a pipe smoking TV celebrity in attendance, new management at Kaywoodie was announced, more people attended than last year, it's Sutliff's 175th anniversary, Missouri Meerschaum's 155th anniversary, and there was high drama at The Battle of the Briar.

Of course, there were lots of new pipes, tobaccos, and a fun new book. Check out James Foster's fun, exciting and informative report right here!

I Don’t Always Go To Pipe Shows But When I Do, It’s The Chicago Pipe Show

Well written, and a nice smattering of interests covered. Had a lot of fun the two I attended. 1st show in 2007, Brad Pohlman sold me a 1/4 bent bullcap he called The Colonel. A beautiful dark blast.

Next show, Bill Furbaugh (Kaywoodie) had a modern recreation of my favorite shape, a 99b. Superb smoker. Bill is such a good guy.

Hope to make next years show, possibly Richmond or Columbus this year.

Fantastic write up! Wish I could have been there. I did catch the tail end of the Battle of the Briar livestream and later watches the entire event. Big thanks to those who made the streaming possible.
