I finally took a chance and got a Dunhill Ruby Bark prince. It is my first Dunhill with this finish. I have tried all the others except the tan shell, and found some of the stains to be bad tasting to the point where they actually ruined the smoke. Am happy to report that this is not a problem with the Ruby Bark. It is an excellent and neutral tasting pipe. There is also something visually delicious about this finish on a sandblasted pipe.

Here's a Dunhill Ruby Bark Prince in Group 3, sold by Smoke-King in the UK. If yours looks like this, I love the beveled bowl top and color.

The Ruby Bark finish is my favorite Dunhill. If I ever break for a Dunhill, estate or new, that's the one I'd choose. Happy

smoking foggy.

I picked up an estate bulldog with the ruby bark finish not long ago. I look forward to seeing what the years do with it.

That pipe looks really long. Maybe it's just the bowl shape that makes it look excessively long. Do you have dimensions for this pipe?
