Rhamnus ... never heard of it. The grain does look good, though.
I wonder if the whole "harder than briar" claim actually is worth it's weight in crap ... I doubt it.
but if it also resists burning as well as briar, then maybe it's a good pipe material.
Still isn't worth what they're asking, though.
And if you have to put "worth collecting" in the title, that's a sure sign of fishiness.
