Never heard of the carver but that's a fine pipe you have,

love when a pipe is in a style I don't normal like, but find it to be a perfect and beautiful pipe. Sorta like eating a dish you normal don't like but it's cooked so well you can't get enough of it. I'd consider it to be in the acorn family, and I just so rarely like those.
