Sorry I don’t know about the Stanwell, nice looker, but I wanted to share with you about Alexander Hasty if you don’t know him, since you mentioned Danish Eggs.

Be sure to look at his pics on Instagram, he makes some amazing Danish Egg styles! 👍

I don't know anything about Danish egg shapes but the bent egg shape is extremely comfortable to smoke ... I have a Vauen 4873 bent egg and its a daily smoker for me. Just my opinion but I think they are a natural evolution of the bent billiard shape. Enjoy your new pipe immensely !

I could look at pipes all day. The Danish and Italians seem to have led the way to new and maybe more aesthetic approach. Pretty sure one of the old masters from Denmark came up with the egg. Here's one by Lars Ivarsson.

Both pipes in photo#4 are Tsuges by Asami Kikuchi

The top pipe is an Ikebana
The bottom one is a limited edition for Peter Stokkebye - black sandblast with boxwood shank extension, army mount
Thanks for the info. I really like that, Peter Stokkebye. I imagine it's not even reasonable in price!
