Meer repair? Crack in shank

Briarville still the place to go to? I think it just needs to be banded. It's my favorite Meer so I hope it's a simple fix.

I sent a couple meers to Briarville Rick several years ago. He fixed one, but felt the other repair was too risky without causing more damage to the pipe. He did what he could with the second one to make it better than it was without potentially damaging the pipe. Both pipes smoke great and I enjoy them regularly.

That's the nice thing about Rick, if he can't fix it, he won't try, and he'll let you know. Unlike some guys that will try, make it worse, and then say sorry and send you a pipe that's not smokeable anymore or has a bad repair. Good luck with your repair.
