Total coincidence. That leaf fell to that spot just as I was getting ready to take the photo. I just assumed it wanted to be in the shot and figured why not.

I actually don't like the colours that meerschaum pipes get with use, but it will not persuade me from buying one anyway. I know I'm probably in the minority, seeing the length people go to colour their meerschaum pipe faster

I've been trying ages to get mine to colour deeply. You want yours to stay whiter than white, so no doubt one smoke and it will look like it's a thousand years old.
