My first Ferndown!

Hi pipe bros,

I purchased my first Ferndown pipe recently, its a estate bulldog and it is gorgeous.

Its a 3 stars size pipe, I did some research and it should be a pipe post 1990 as Ferndown starts using the starts system post 1990? Please correct me if I am wrong. Any Ferndown experts here could tell me more info on this pipe?

I don't know when the Stars size system went into use, and had not heard of any date previously.
I always wanted to find a 2 Star, but they are like hens teeth. (I have a 3 Star)

Hey Al, I have a two star bulldog, but not sure why Les stamped it as such. Seems like a typical size for him.
