This is something new and i have never even aware that a system pipe without mount actually exist..this one appears in 1971 or so (for Iwan Ries?) and went thru several iterations. Some are smooth and few rustics.
Peterson Dunmore (shape#77) marking a bit feint, nevertheless in good condition. Small in size (vs new 313) yet very easy and light to clench, and rustic finish to hold on to.. puffy puffy puffy

I have a smooth version that was actually produced for Iwan Ries at one time. Instead of the "P" on the stem, it is stamped "IRC"
The real oddity about mine is that it is stamped Peterson Kapp-Royal but has the unique Dunmore bead work. (that information came from Mark Irwin) The shape is a 79 and it stamped "Made in the Republic of Ireland" in three lines. Pete_left080918.jpg

Wow look at those nice burls puffy puffy puffy if i read right - the idea for Dunmore comes from Iwan Ries?
Mine was 77 (smallest) and Rustic so the stamping are scattered in the flat bottom and since its a sitter a bit faded.
