Hey all!

How about a thread about Petersons in general--everything we like, dislike, favorite pipes, favorite finishes, shapes, how they've changed over the years. There seem to be quite a few die-hard fans on here and I'd love to share the love!

I have one Peterson myself, an army mounted 406 with a P-lip. What Petersons do y'all have?

I have several, including a 306 from the late 70’s. I’ve had good luck with the ones I have, really like their more traditional designs in smooth finishes.

I have a Derry 68 ...smokes great, solid construction... I have heard not so great things, so I will be cautious when buying one; that said, I'd buy another in a second.

One of my favorite pipes is the Irish Army 406. Small chamber but nice thick walls and feels “right“ in my hand.

got two. A green churchwarden which is a great pipe. And a spigot system pipe that is hands down my best smoker.

I've five, six including the Shamrock----a Peterson Product Pot, smooth, straight
Two 303 p-lips, a rusticated and a smooth
One 301 p-lip, smooth
One Apple fishtail, rusticated, straight
One Bulldog fishtail, smooth, straight

I have purchased four or five Petersons over the years. The drilling on everyone of them was terrible.
My Dad gave me one he got in the early 1960s and it is great.
