Corona or Kiribi Old Boys are all I use. They are both fine brands and it doesn't matter which I am using. Neither brand has failed me. Kiribi's are a little less expensive.

Zippo with a pipe insert. Formerly a Bic but it would't stay lit in a breeze. I like the Zippo. ?

Kiribi Kubota or a Zippo with the standard pipe insert. I do try to use matches most of the time and I keep them in a plated Vesta case with the Edinburgh city coat of arms.

I have tried Zippos, Old Boys, Bics and I find Bics work best for me.

I use a bic lighter that I put in this Goodworth metal case just to class it up a bit. Hahaha!

I just came across your post. I just purchased a Xikar Resource and it was defective out of the box. I was struck by how cheap the build quality was. I also have Lotus, which was about half the price of the Xikar and has been trouble free and seems to have better build quality.

I've looked into those after seeing yours. Where do people get em these days?

This makes it a little more worth keeping an eye on. This way you know people won't steal them. Or if they do you know it's yours. Why I initialed my Zippo with a Dremel.

I use an old zippo I have had since high school. Only new part about it is the pipe insert I got for it. Now I don't have to worry about burning the top of the bowl (as much).
