I just picked up this Sergio pipe that was made in Italy. When I look up Sergio, I see that was a name that Ascorti used for a very short time after he left Caminetto. Is there any chance that this pipe is related to that? I don’t see any other info on other Sergio pipes, but I really just don’t know. With the vulcanite stem and a different rustification than I have seen on Ascorti work, I have my doubts.
Hoping some folks here with more knowledge can help.

I have a Sergio smooth pot. The online material I found a few years ago gave some data on that link. Yes, my limited understanding is that this was a briefly used imprinting prior to Ascoti and after leaving Castello.
