I tried to smoke a bowl of Rivendale today and it turned into a soggy mess about 1/3 of the way through the bowl, so I did what someone here mentioned and microwaved about half of my remaining pouch for 30 seconds to overcome the PG. Steam was rolling off it. When it cooled and stopped steaming, it seemed quite dry. I put it back into the pouch to equalize with the rest of it. We'll see how it does in a couple days.

Just leave it to mother nature to handle the drying if it needs any. Aromatics can be a real problem though.
The sun can be intense in Sydney, Oz, even in mid-winter.
A few minutes in direct sun is sufficient for most non-aros.

Aros need a bit more drying, then gravity filled as suggested by @anotherbob

If it is a wet and humid weekend, then there will be a problem.
But a few meer chips or Nording Keystones at the bottom of the bowl helps greatly

last year we had a few humid days that soaked my tobacco in the less then an hour of packed bowl to smoked bowl. And didn't bother me as much as I thought it would, but the english blends got gross.
