Les pots à tabac sont assez variés, certains les collectionnent et d'autres continuent à les utiliser.
Actuellement les pots qui sont fabriqués sont présentés avec un joint hermétique pour que le tabac se conserve
mieux. Ils peuvent être en terre cuite, en céramique, en bois, en métal et peuvent également être utilisés pour la décoration.Here is an old tobacco jar that my grandfather never used.

I have several ceramic or stoneware tobacco jars. I noticed the one pictured has no seal.
I've often wondered what type of tobacco was kept in jars like that as the tobacco would dry out rather quickly.

there must have been a removable humidifier that had to disappear
