So I seem to be blessed with amazingly sharp teeth. No matter what position I place the stem in my mouth, I without a doubt will mark up my stems. I had been using Softy Bits, and they are great. But, I also wanted to experience the pipe without the. Ive done acrylic, which dont mark up as much, and Ebonite. The ebnite is lovely, but takes a beating. Suprisingly, the acrylic also shows pretty ggood wear after a few smokes.

Does those of us blessed with this misfortune just grin and bear it and use softy bits to preserve the stems?

If you dont plan on selling the pipe ,does it matter
Smoke on

My worry is the amount of imprint i make on each smoke session. I wonder how long it would actually be until i wore through it. Mind you I have a good rotation, but still.
