T-shirt, short pants. I mostly smoke my pipe at home, til now, haven't brought them outside yet.
One can never be too careful around flames and embers, so I wear this.
Like I said, shop clothes, generally I look homeless 
I tried out for the backup guitar but my beard wasn’t long enough, maybe next year.
Stuff like this until spring.
Let's just say I don't take a shower using Irish Spring and a splash of cologne, brush my teeth and put on some new duds to increase my smoking pleasure.

As I have got older I wear flat caps. Guys who wear flap caps and a pipe look good. Fedoras were before my time I would have enjoyed wearing one.
Well, the time of year and where I’m having a smoke dictate what I‘m wearing. Nothing set in stone. Definitely no official smoking jacket and ascot ?

I do it all the time. In my beanbag chair. Sometimes the ashes burn, but if you flick them off fast enough it’s not too big of a deal - just keep them away from the carpet.
I didn’t realize anyone actually wore certain clothes with intent to smoke a pipe. ?
Normally I just wear whatever I'm wearing, but I do have a cardigan that I wear for my after work wind-down.

I've got an old threadbare pea coat I generally wear, protects me from ashes if the wind kicks up. If it's wet (often) I'll wear this long double breasted wool coat, mid-calf, copy of German Navy overcoat, to stay dry. They're both dark, so you don't see the burn marks, and wool, so they don't ignite like synthetics. And either a cap, cowboy hat (wind/rain), or Greek fisherman's cap.
