Smoking 2014 OGS in a Peterson Mark Twain. I may be stupid for trying, but I can't get this stuff to bite--in this pipe or any other. A very mellow smoke.
This morning I smoked Stokkebye’s cube cut in the Bones Apple and I’m now smoking some Mac Baren Latakia flake in a Pete 999 rusticoated.
Close to finishing this bowl of 2022 Dominican produced Carter Hall in a 1929-1931 KBB Kaywoodie Drinkless 7782 straight smooth walnut bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Greetings all. Just wanted to squeeze in a post before midnight to mark my third anniversary of being a member here. Thanks to all for the information, opinions, tips, etc, but particularly the camaraderie. I joined the forum about two months after starting my pipe journey and I may not have persevered had I not had this forum and dare I say it, some YouTube pipe videos. Thoroughly enjoyed it all thus far and looking forward to many more years. Today I've been smoking Elizabethan Mixture, and Burley Flake #5.
Now smoking C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem.
Last smoke of the day is Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked. Reading while this bowl lasts.

I did not have high hopes for this blend, but damn…it is quite good in my opinion. Never harsh. Flavor is consistent. When I first opened the tin, all I smell was acetone. I gave it a month or so in a jar and it has mellowed. Wow.
