You may not have realized it till you smoked it for the first time(more known as discovery by default)-ya,just made that up.But where did that passion come from or continue with that makes you reach for that certain particular pipe time and time again?I used my rent money for mine because it just felt like nectar of the Gods in my hand and looked even better and I've never looked back.

My J. Alan pipe. I have never seen one before or till date on ebay but I found one about 7 months ago and love it. His pipes usually run in the $1,000, but I was able to mine for 400 bucks.I love the look and how it smokes. It just fits my personality perfectly.

The prize of my modest collection is a $40 GBD New Era ⅛-bent bulldog.

The grain is unremarkable, but I get a perfect smoke every time! It out-performs

everything else I have; and as a bonus, the size, styling, mouth & hand feel

suits me to a tee. In my rotation it's the standard of comparison, and test bed for new blends.
