Hi all,
I am a converted cigar to pipe smoker. I have about 14 pipes - ranging from a Malaga (out of royal oak Michigan) to Castillo (kkkk full bent). All my pipes are estate and I enjoy the history before they came to me.

I recently bought this beautiful pipe. However, previous buffings have pretty much worn off the maker’s name.

There are three lines. (And I am guessing here)
A scripted top line
A Handmade
A Denmark print.

If anyone could help me figure out the markings, I would be appreciative!

I hope my pictures help.

Beautiful pipe. There was some serious buffing done to that pipe.
I can only make out the last two lines...

Denmark
All the best with researching the identity of the pipe.

Welcome from BC, Canada.

That pipe ID took no time. It sounds like you have some nice estate finds.
Thanks. I do have some nice pipes! I get mine for Jim Simon in Detroit. 85y/o gentleman and tobacconist. I used to get my cigars from him, but I fell in love with pipes this past year. My collection has some great old classics from 60’s on through. Jim really has educated me on pipes. Not everything comes from Scotti or Dunhill. Preben Holms, Bjarne, etc etc and many other craftsmen out there.

More like grinding, not buffing. I don’t get it…. But I found out it’s a Bjarne Nielsen. The ironmonkey ( and a couple of others) helped out with the ID. Fast service!!
