I am getting back into pipe smoking after a long absense.
I have several jars (not Mason type) with rubber seals that have been in a cabinet since about 2011. The are from Iwan Ries and
Gatlinburlier. The appartement ok through the glass and Show no signs of discoloration. One jar is somewhat stuck to the bottom of the jar. Would these still be smokable? Thanks.

As long as they aren't moldy (fuzzy) and are not dry as the Sahara, you should be fine to smoke them. If they were aromatics, then they will most definitely will have very muted aromatic flavors. Virginia and English blends will have a different taste to them as well, but in a good way.

Should be fine as long as no mold present. Might be even better than when they went in the jar. Hydrate as needed and give them a try.
