New (to me) The Country Squire Tobaccos

Glad to hear they were hits for you. I'm working my way through their blends currently. Picked up some Ruins of Windsor yesterday to give a go soon.

    Ashton: Pebble Grain Don (XX)

Nice looking pipe! I'd like to get one of those as well someday. Picked up my first Ashton during the sales. A XX straight billiard. It's been great. Smokes well and is almost the perfect weight for a shop clencher. Hope you enjoy the new pipe!

    PAD Strikes Again

Looks good! I've been curious how meerschaum lined bowls smoke as opposed to a full meerschaum pipe.

    My first Cavicchi

Ignore the work hands. Impossible to clean until the works done. Here's a few photos that better show the grain.

    My first Cavicchi

That sounds like a nice sweet spot. I've found straight pipes under 40g to be reasonable for myself. Bent pipes I'm more flexible with. This pipe comes in just a hair over 68g!

    My first Cavicchi

I've actually found a few Moretti pipes that are quite the lookers. Perhaps I'll grab one soon. Thanks for the suggestions!

    My first Cavicchi

I haven't seen nearly the amount of Cavicchis in a condition I would buy as I have Castellos here in the states personally. I may give Castellos a try now after enjoying this pipe so.

    My first Cavicchi

I love large pipes but getting the proper weight is indeed a challenge and this one is about as heavy as I'm like to go. I find the trade off worth it here though.

    My first Cavicchi

I'll see if I can get a few more photos in this thread soon. It's CCC.

    My first Cavicchi

Thanks! It certainly seems that's true if this pipe is anything to judge by. Perhaps it'll be joined by others soon.

    My first Cavicchi

I bought a barely smoked estate Cavicchi last week off of eBay. This is a first for the maker and also a first for Italian made pipes in general for me. I'm impressed. I've only smoked a handful of bowls through this pipe and it's already amongst my favorite pipes thus far. After a few Peterson...

Closing out the night with a recently cracked tin of Maltese Falcon from 2018 in a MM Country Gentleman.

    Hey Everyone

Hello Hello. Greetings from Mississippi. I actually arrived at pipe smoking after using snus to break the cigarette habit. Similar trajectory as I just missed smoking but didn't want to go back to cigarettes. I'm around 8 months in now. I hope you find yourself enjoying the pipe as much as I...

Jim's C&D Steamworks (Small Batch) Review.

I appreciate your review Jim. I'm a newer pipe smoker and I've grown fond of virginia blends and oriental blends. This will be the first tobacco I've purchased with intent to cellar some. It's currently available at pipes and cigars if anyone missed it or would like a few for later.
