    4th Generation 131

I bought this from my favorite B/M and opened yesterday. Smells sweet I understand they use a honey topping. The smoke does not reflect the honey smell but I did find occasional sweet notes as I worked through the bowl. I bought the 3 tins they had (all with a 2013 date on them) I'm going to...

Reasonable Value for a NOS Kaywoodie Regent.

I dont mind the stingers, a little ever clear on the metal and pipe cleaner to poke through the holes. Super grains are nice albeit in spite of the name it was close to entry level. I have seen some that were quite good looking.

Reasonable Value for a NOS Kaywoodie Regent.

Thank You all for the great responses and advice. I am a " Kaywoodie Guy" I suppose because of how well they smoke. The thought that Kaywoodie did the Cumberland stems before Dunhill is what intrigues me about the Regent line.

Reasonable Value for a NOS Kaywoodie Regent.

I am curious if someone would have an idea what a reasonable retail value would be for a NOS Kaywoodie Regent model 22 in box. I understand that the value is what someone is willing to pay, but my curiosity stems from wanting to know the current retail price one would expect to pay. American...

New Pipe Break In and RC Oriental Square

Decided to break in my new Kaywoodie Regent with Robert McConnell Oriental Square. I will have to say it was a great choice for the task. Burns cool, Orientals shine with sweets and sour, enough latakia to know its there without taking over the blend.I am a Balkan blend fan and this one does...

What Blend did your Grandfather Smoke?

He was from Flint started at AC when the doors opened in the experimental and modeling department. I have memories of walking to Pauls with him from our eastside Flint home. Now I drive every Saturday to have a smoke there and a chat with great people. My vote for the best old time Pipe shop in...

    Hello from Michigan

I recently this year came back to smoking a pipe after a 15 year hiatus. I can only shudder at how many nice pipes I could have with the money I spent on cigarettes. I am a big fan of Charatan's and prefer Balkan blends / English. My new pursuit is chasing down older Kaywoodie's. Never...
