Italian Pipes: Just my Style?
Could be in your head🙂 but all but one of my Italian pipes have a fairly open draw and I think that smokes better for my smoking tendencies. Ser Jacopo Delecta
Delecta is just a stylistic option. I believe it refers primarily to the shape of an accent on the end of the shank. Not all delecta pipes have silver. It Took 2 Years To Find This Bully
I do not. I could be wrong but I’m not familiar with a really useful way to date Ser Jacopos. It is from their “Compta” series which was introduced in ‘97 and consists of more typical “classic” shapes with a silver accent. -

I stopped in there a couple of years ago on a road trip. The owners were very very nice. Not a ton of pipes on the shelf. Some Petes and Savs mostly if I recall correctly. They had a couple tins of Margate that I snatched up. They had a lot of house blended bulk blends to check out.- Sir Yak
