    Lord Chesterfield Pipe Cabinet

Thanks! I think I'll leave it like that. And I have way more than will ever fit in this little baby thing. This will likely be my rotation cabinet

And here we are after a nice coat of linseed oil. I was going to stain it, but I thought the more natural look would be better. I need to sand and coat the drawer still and then put it together. I'll post pictures once it's hanging on the wall full of pipes where it belongs.

I got a wild hair up my ass today and did a thing.... I intend to stain it. The wood is beautiful.

The stem is too loose in the shank and it just falls out. I've been in contact with Peterson and they'll make...

    Lord Chesterfield Pipe Cabinet

Ha! Thanks for the advice. I kind of got a wild hair and already sanded part of it. No matter what it would have been worth, I'll never sell it. I am curious how old it may be though. Google yielded no results.

    Lord Chesterfield Pipe Cabinet

Hello all, I inherited a pipe cabinet from my great grandfather in 2009 and I'm just now getting around to doing something with it. It's neat and definitely older than I am (34), but I was hoping someone could help me date it. I intend to keep it and use it, maybe sand it and refinish it...
