    Most of my pipes are hand made. The reason is nothing has been forgotten in which to transport me to a place I love and cherish. With a great pipe, the experience is predictable. With a hand crafted pipe, the experience is beyond words, and I appreciate the silence.

    If your draft hole is cut properly you can smoke it if not too wet. If it is, let it sit for awhile. You don't have to smoke it, but I do.

    You would have to set the bakelite on fire concentrate the smoke and inhale. Bakelite doesn't off gas, You're safe. Still used by some pipe carvers today.
