    I contemplate ordering a gold paint stick for filling logos on Les Wood pipe stems. Or are they yellow filled ? OCD question, but it matters to me. Please share.

    On very very very shallow logos I use this stuff; https://www.amazon.com/Tamiya-87095-White-Putty-32grm/dp/B000R9N5VU Dries very very very fast and rock hard, can be dilluted with aceton.

    Maybe not George-prove, but this looks perfectly tolerable to me :) Actually a paintstick is George's favourite jobbie for filling logos on f.i. Charatan stems etc. I adopted his method; warm the stick and rub it in the logo, then wipe off excess with a tissue in kind of a "rolling motion"...

    It is not a FH, just a quite common bent shape 11. Same shapes could be both smooth and sandblasted. I own a few with the similar kind of blast, according to Barry Jones it was a typical blast from the fifties. Rather deep and craggy, in particular on the birdseyes.

    John Redman Richmond pipe I believe . Nice ! I just won a 1970 smooth one ( in fine condition ) on a Dutch auction site; 15,00 . It included the box, unused pouch and documentation .
