Best cheap meerschaum pipes

Does anyone know somewhere that i can order or purchase a meerschaum pipe for as little money as humanly possible, and still get something worth smoking.
It may be impossible but i am hoping for something around the 35 dollar ish mark.
I am looking for something as plain as possible, not looking for anything beautiful and artful, just plain.
Anything would help, thanks guys

Don't dismiss African Meerschaum, they can be picked up cheap and most are good smokers, they are not as bad as some say, all my Peterson and Barlings Meerschaums are African meer and are some of my favorite smokers, and they are not so fragile as Turkish meer, There was a few firms that specialised in African meer like, Jambo, Kiko and Amboseli and all are respected makers.

Damn this is would be a good question for Fred does he still frequent these forums? he was like a tobacco encyclopedia and was the king of all things meerschaum. If he is still hear and you can wait I would give it a day and see if he responds his word is bond in the world of the white Goddess.

Honestly, looking for a cheap deal on a Meerschaum Pipe is a crap shoot... It can be done, but it is better to save up and purchase a Pipe from a reputable source. The important thing to remember is that it is the quality of the Block used to Carve the Pipe that will determine the quality of the Pipe, and high grade Block is expensive and currently in short supply.
