What kind of wax did you use? You got a nice shine with whatever it was and just a shoe brush.
On all my sandblast and rusticated pipes I use Halcyon II wax. I apply it using a small paintbrush. It can get in the nooks and crannies. Wait about 1/2 hour then buff with shoe brush. Then once it’s had time to thoroughly dry buff some more…

I was afraid you were going to say you use Halcyon II. I wish I had bought some when it was readily available. I’ve been using Renaissance but I don’t think it works as well as Halcyon.
