I do like the Condor Long Cut (brown)better than This Ready Rubbed green, mellower,less perfumed but still full and satisfying

@condorlover1 @simong gave me a clay pipe's worth of 1980s Irish Condor Long Cut at last year's Nottingham Pipe Show; a great smoke in Ye Olde Clay and fitting for the Redcoat
@Dan: Redcoats didn't smoke Condor as it didn't exist until like the late 1890s. Everyone knows that Redcoats smoked Clan!

@LotusEater : Yep. I heard that too. They also say that they are using old stock Condor Flake in Poland to stuff Kielbasa with, pretty sure thats what I heard!

Hardly, young man. You've got to be in it to win it, as they say. I think it was a case of one foot in & one foot out, from the redcoats perspective I mean. Take pennsylvania for example, who'd want to set one foot in that state, let alone two? Like Wales, but without the singing!
All you got to see was the Route 78 corridor, which was land that the Germans settled. The English went to Philadelphia, which subsequently became a slum. Except for the German areas.
I saw enough. I know that much.
To be fair, it wasn't a total disappointment. I found the road out of pennsylvania to be very exhilarating.
Condor - even this latest polish incarnation - is just fine. Fortunately, I have a friend in Spain, where it rains, mainly on the plain, who sends me a push here now and then.

But much less of an excrement hole than it was 20 years ago. FWIW, I had family there in the 1850’s. They all smoked pipes. Even the kids.
I only go to Philadelphia County unless I absolutely have to…ya know Phillies games…that’s about it…Damn shame.
