Dating my grandfather's Dunhill Lighter - help please

I've service, and engraved the attached lighter to give to one of my sons. This is not a butane light but an earlier version of the rollagas using liquid fuel. The base references US patent number 2102108, outer jacket 14k gold, and "LT".
Any help or pointing me in the right direction would be very much appreciated.
